Earlier this afternoon I had the immense pleasure of hearing Uncanny Valley (2014) rehearsed by the JSoM Concert Orchestra. It was an efficient hour of work, led by conductor Alvin Ho. Below are some screen captures from the video (and my iPhone!). It was such a thrill to hear them. Apparently getting sick wasn’t going to stop me from missing out either; I’m home now after realizing how “under the weather” I actually was. But today’s reading was top shelf anesthesia — still riding it out! Haven’t had a chance to listen to the recording yet, but hope to share more soon!
